Scripture Reflections, Volume 1 - Scripture Songs for the Last Days
“It is wonderful to finally see this project accomplished. Praise God!
After the Lord inspired each of the seventeen songs in a torrent of notes and ideas, that flew onto the paper and piano keys with the ease and conviction that gave me the assurance they came from above, the ‘fountain’ of inspiration suddenly stopped, and I knew then that I had to put them all together in an album, no more, no less, and make them available to God’s people in these last days.
The Bible verses chosen are some of the most precious promises that we have in Scripture for this time in history. The music itself describes the thought of the verses and enhances their meaning. The order of the scripture songs was carefully chosen to represent the journey of the Christian, from ‘the valley of the shadow of death’, to the victorious march ‘through the gates into the City’. Also, they are organized into three sections as follows: TRUST (songs 1-8), TRIALS (songs 9-14) and TRIUMPH (songs 15-17).
